THE BUSE STORY

Our Vision

To become an integral and highly valued provider of “mission critical” interconnect solutions for a robust US-based manufacturing sector providing a wide array of high quality products designed to improve the quality of life in the global marketplace throughout the 21st Century.

Our History

Buse Industries was founded in 1962 by Jack Buse in St. Louis, Missouri, as a distributor of electronic products. Shortly thereafter, the Company began doing light manufacturing in conjunction with its distribution business. As business grew, more and more manufacturing and assembly capabilities were added.

In the decades since, Buse Industries continued to expand and acquired several other leading cable manufacturing, assembly, and printed circuit board companies. These companies include Connection Concepts Inc. (CCI), RBI, Elite Technologies, Cleveland Cable, Custom Cable Assembly (formerly known as Electronic Harness Assembly), Neeco-Tron, Inc. (NTI) and, most recently, Major Custom Cable (MCC), Inc.

In December of 2018, Buse Industries entered a new era in its storied history, when it moved all operations to a new facility in Hazelwood, Missouri, just two miles north of its previous location in Bridgeton. The new 50,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art building was designed and built from the ground up for Buse’s unique processes, with every department aligned to support a LEAN manufacturing environment.

Buse Industries was previously jointly owned by Capital for Business (CFB), the wholly owned subsidiary of Commerce Bancshares, Inc., a $22 billion regional bank holding company based in Kansas City, Missouri, MidStates Capital Fund L.P. based in Overland Park, Kansas, Diamond States Ventures (DSV) based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Konza Valley Capital of Overland Park, Kansas.

Buse Industries has a 50-plus-year track record of providing our customers with leading edge technology products, quality, competitive pricing, flexibility, and responsiveness. Our expertise in the design and manufacturing of electro-mechanical products, cable assemblies, and printed circuit boards is unsurpassed. We make the complicated simple.

In July of 2020, Buse Industries name was acquired by Brenneman Associates, Inc., located in Marion, Iowa
